It’s widely understood today that when it comes to automobiles, turbine technology has inherent efficiency advantages over internal combustion engines.

More than 80,000 people in New York, Washington, DC, and Greater Los Angeles, volunteered to drive the vehicles as part of Project Driveway, which began in November 2007. More than 50,000 gallons of gasoline have been saved so far by the fuel cell Equinoxes, more than 100 of which are part of Project Driveway.
