According to figures released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), in the first eleven months of 2012 Chinese self-developed brands exported 470,000 passenger vehicles in total—with automotive manufacturers on average showing a 30% sales increase over 2011 figures.

AvtoVAZ, the largest automaker based in Russia, a part of Rostec Corporation, introduced three new LADA concept cars at the Moscow International Motor Show 2014. The move comes on the heels of AvtoVAZ-Renault-Nissan becoming the fourth largest manufacturer of automobiles worldwide following several successful moves by Rostec.
