“Electric cars will not save the climate. must have 90 percent of its vehicles, or some 350 million EVs, on the road by 2050 in order to hit its emission targets. and elsewhere, it still will not be sufficient to meet net zero 2050 emission targets. the sources of the other 73 percent of GHG emissions must be reduced as well.

Posted by: Joe | Apr 13, 2009 11:27:11 PM The government gets no tax money on electric vehicles. We are addicted to the gasoline tax both at the State and Federal level. There is no room for them to hide the taxes or blame it on successful "rich" people. The Democrats have reached too far. GM never wanted the EV1 to succeed.
