The Automobile manufacturers have to mandatorily get certified their vehicles by the local authorities before launching them. Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport and Highways, has said, “EV manufacturers should offer a significant discount to EV buyers who scrapped their old IC engine cars.”
