Euro 6 regs in full effect; ACEA launches clean diesel campaign in support of technology-neutral policies

As of 1 September, all new cars sold in Europe must meet the Euro 6 emissions requirements. Since 1992, the EU has introduced increasingly stricter limits on vehicle emissions through a series of Euro standards. Diesel cars also have 15% lower CO 2 emissions per kilometer than equivalent gasoline-powered vehicles.
