In the first quarter of 2020, the electrically-chargeable vehicle segment in Europe significantly increased its market share, rising to 6.8% (from 2.5% Gasoline and diesel cars. The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) has published new data demonstrating the correlation between the market uptake of electrically-chargeable vehicles (ECVs) and both GDP and customer incentives. Five EU member states don’t offer any incentives at all: Croatia, Estonia, Lithuania, Malta and Poland.
