The NJ Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will begin considering the potential adoption of the Advanced Clean Cars II (ACC II) regulation implemented by the California Air Resources Board. Washington, Oregon, Vermont, Massachusetts, and New York adopted the ACC II regulations in 2022.

Eight partnering states released their Multi-State ZEV Action Plan as the first promised milestone for the bi-coastal collaboration to pave the way for increasingly large numbers of zero emission vehicles: plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), battery electric vehicles (BEVs), and hydrogen-powered fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs).

Honda’s “Green Path” approach, announced during a media tour of its operations in Ohio, seeks: To reduce or eliminate the use of substances of concern (SOCs) and scarce natural resources such as rhodium, palladium and platinum in the design and production of its vehicles.
