Yes GM will lose $ on the Volt, just like the first Insights or Priuss, but unlike Toyota or Honda, they just cant afford to wait for it to catch on and become profitable. needs to have an indigenous automobile industry, and not merely "transplants". Its a damn shame. We had a Celebrity (1987-1994) and it was a piece of crap.
