That way you have a fair basis of comparison, you know, apples to apples and all that jazz. If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. The EV1s failure was a failure of Management. Never again.
