Denmark did that with Wind Power and now most of their energy comes from wind rather than oil, natural gas, or coal. When most of America will be reluctant to buy a GM car because the company might go bankrupt how the hell did those in charge think bailing them out was a good idea? This is true, irrespective of the merits of the Volt.
