Toyota Prius modders have already been adding larger batteries so the vehicle can run on battery power. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. So is the management in Washinton DC. needs to have an indigenous automobile industry, and not merely "transplants".
