WLTP and RDE tests for measuring emissions come into force in EU tomorrow

The new laboratory test, the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure ( WLTP ), will introduce more realistic testing conditions for measuring pollutant and CO 2 emissions than the previous, outdated lab test (NEDC). However, GTRs require incorporation into national or regional legal frameworks before they can be applied.
