This application of BMW eDrive technologies features the first PHEV system with a front/transverse-mounted. BMW Group, Innovation Days Efficient Dynamics 2015: Hydrogen Fuel Cell eDrive Technology. In Comfort mode, the high-voltage battery is automatically recharged by the high-voltage generator to a charge up of around 15%.
