Nissan launched its Pathfinder range in the Russian market at the Moscow Motor Show. gasoline engine as well as the hybrid drive system. liter gasoline engine and an electric motor paired with a compact Li-ion battery. One clutch is installed between the gasoline engine and the electric motor, the other within the CVT.

In the prototype of a BMW 2 Series Active Tourer with plug-in hybrid system, the front wheels are driven by a three-cylinder gasoline engine and the rear wheels by an electric motor. In Comfort mode, the high-voltage battery is automatically recharged by the high-voltage generator to a charge up of around 15%.
