Although Hyundai’s first three-row electric SUV debuted as the SEVEN concept at the 2021 LA Auto Show, reports suggest it will now go by the IONIQ 9. Ahead of its official debut, a person familiar with the matter told Automotive News that Hyundai plans to call its first three-row SUV the IONIQ 9 rather than the IONIQ 7, as expected.

It is the third best-selling SUV for Cadillac, coming in behind the larger Escalade and XT5, but ahead of the XT6 and Lyriq EV. The fuel economy, which is best in Touring mode, is rated by the EPA at 24 mpg city/29 highway/26 combined mpg. mpg, same as the EPA. All of them outsell the Cadillac luxury sedans.
