Blue Chicken, Indonesia’s biggest taxi operator, is ready to buy maximum of its unused fleet as electrical cars (EVs) from BYD, in line with a document by means of Bloomberg. The exit comes as Blue Chicken objectives to faucet into the rising approval for cheap EVs within the Indonesian marketplace.

That may be hard in China, considering BYD and GAC have stronger positions in the taxi and ride-sharing segment, but XPeng recently signed deals with some local car rental companies to buy its P7 sedan, the team noted. We note BYD has an agreement with SIXT for 100,000 EVs and XPeng's vehicles fall into a similar price point.
