This application of BMW eDrive technologies features the first PHEV system with a front/transverse-mounted. BMW is collaborating with Toyota on fuel cell systems. There is a choice of three settings: Auto eDrive: this hybrid mode is activated as the default setting in Comfort mode every time the vehicle is started.
