And EV owners would become entrepreneurs, selling electricity back to the grid. And indeed, that’s how promoters of vehicle-to-grid technology perceive the EV.

The Renault-Nissan Alliance is building fleet charging stations in Portland and Phoenix. The electricity for recharging has to come from somewhere, which means power plants. Depending upon where you live, power plants are often burning natural resources. We have those…they are readily available in our own domestic fleet.
