Weve kept the summary table below generally up-to-date for passenger PHEVs, but not for BEVs, motorcycles or larger vehicles like buses and trucks. Volkswagen CEO says "Future belongs to electric cars," has gained German government support for development. Its not in todays Prius and we wouldnt expect that in the future.

"The Volt continues to be one of our highest priorities among all GMs future product programs and remains on track for a November 2010 launch," spokesman David Darovitz told Automotive News. Volt like hybrids are the intermediate future between hydrogen or fast charging electric cars. So I think its a safe bet for GM.
