It will appear in Europe next year as the Opel Ampera and in Australia as the Holden Volt in 2012. South Korea did that and Australia is going to be doing that. Toyota Prius modders have already been adding larger batteries so the vehicle can run on battery power. The car is expected to cost around $40,000.
