Being built at a new Gigafactory in Austin Texas, first US Cybertruck deliveries are scheduled for production late in 2023, having been delayed on multiple occasions. It has now re-established it as an electrified sub-brand of GMC. In 2021 Toyota inked a deal with the company to supply the 70-Series EVs to mining companies.

A question about bidirectional charging was also asked. Elon Musk noted that bidirectional charging is not that useful since Powerwall is better. The service’s rollout in Texas will include $30 charging at night for customers who sign up for Tesla Electric. He estimates 10 models or so should be enough.
