I t wasn't that long ago that I remember a Chrysler ad that bragged about how its new Charger, with the big V 8, was a hybrid. Now, the very ungreen Chrysler is changing its tune. In the last few weeks, not only has Chrysler made announcements, so has Mazda, Hyundai, and Nissan. it burned gas and rubber.

Though 12 miles is well short of the 40 plus miles of the upcoming Chevy Volt, the costs associated with the hybrid system should also fall well short of the Volts costly power train. . The plug-in Prius is a separate model from the all new 2010 Prius Hybrid.
