PNNL IntelliVent system reduces risk of explosions in outdoor battery cabinets

Although energy storage systems with cabinet-type enclosures can be advantageous due to capacity, footprint and access, the cabinets leave little room for exhaust fans which would vent flammable gases that can result from failed cells and lead to explosion. IntelliVent is the first system of its kind designed to address these requirement.
