MIT study: half of US deaths related to air pollution are linked to out-of-state emissions

The research was a collaboration between MIT’s Laboratory for Aviation and the Environment and the MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change. We can figure out, for example, how much NO x emissions from road transportation in Arizona in July affects human health in Texas, and we can do those calculations instantly.
