The US Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy today released the 2010 Fuel Economy Guide, which gives consumers information about estimated fuel costs and mileage standards for model year 2010 vehicles. For MY 2010, the Prius is the top fuel economy leader , with EPA ratings of 51/48 mpg city/highway.

EcoBoost provides customers up to 20% improvement in fuel economy and a 15% reduction in emissions versus larger-displacement engines. EcoBoost is standard on the Taurus SHO and available on the Ford Flex, Lincoln MKS and Lincoln MKT. For the year, GM hybrid sales increased 30% from the year before to 16,142 units.
