Government of Canada, Québec invest in GM-POSCO CAM plant in Québec

The Government of Canada announced support for the latest cathode active materials (CAM) facility to be operational in Canada, to be built by a joint venture between General Motors (GM) and POSCO Future M in Bécancour, Québec ( earlier post ). With the new BMW round cell specially designed for the electric architecture of the NEUE KLASSE models, it will be possible to increase the range of the highest-range model by up to 30% (according to WLTP).
