Today, nearly all domestic biomass produced for electricity generation and liquid fuels occurs on land. All subsystems are intended to be deployed in Hawaii’s offshore environment to validate field performance. Finally, the team seeks to demonstrate a prototype harvester that could be adapted to renewable power sources.
