Europe moves forward on the Energy Union; transport key element

The European Commission has adopted the European Energy Union package —a framework strategy for a resilient energy union with a forward-looking climate change policy. 94% percent of transport relies on oil products, of which 90% is imported. As a next step, the Commission will present it to the EU institutions.
