This year Nissan will export the South African built Navara pickup trucks to new markets of Algeria, Libya, Sudan, Tunisia and Egypt, Nissan Africa product Marketing Director Stefan Haasbroek said. Nissan’s e-Power technology system includes a petrol engine with a power generator, inverter, battery and an electric motor.

In China, SEAT is a part of the JAC Volkswagen joint venture and preparations are being made for its entry in the world’s largest car market.

The EV launch comes as part of a product offensive, in which SEAT will launch one new car every six months until 2020. XMOBA and CUPRA join SEAT Metropolis:Lab Barcelona, SEAT’s wholly owned digital-lab inaugurated in 2017, which is a part of the Volkswagen Group’s worldwide network of IT-Labs.
