I rode cleaner shtyle with the driver and reached the hotel at 1940 hrs. The building had Jain, Buddhist, Jewish and Persian motifs, reflecting Din-e-elahi - which translates to learnings from all religions. It is said that Akbar’s queens had unlimited access to this building - and they would play ankh-micholi over there.
