Azure technology has been approved by the California Hybrid Voucher Incentive Program (HVIP) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and can qualify for a total cash incentive of up to $30,000 on the first purchase and $25,000 on additional units. Goshen Coach, of Elkhart, Indiana will supply the bodies for the Littleton purchases.

Alone, the federal government plans to purchase more than 500 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) or EVs in fiscal year 2017.
