Ford unveiled the all-electric 2022 F-150 Lightning Pro, a version of the electric F-150 Lightning ( earlier post ) targeted at commercial customers. More than 145 million miles of telematics data show that for the average F-150 commercial customer in the US, 95% of their daily travel is less than 174 miles.

And so that's what we call "DC fast charging." New DC fast-charging stations are being built at a fairly fast clip. The challenge for the makers there is that there are multiple DC fast charging networks out there run by different companies. This is not something you would do at home. Mitsubishi is positioning the North American i-MiEV electric vehicle as the most affordably-priced mass-produced EV available in the US. The cooling system only becomes operational when it detects that the battery temperature is above 68 °F (20 °C); in this initial phase the HVAC blower fan and the battery ventilation fan are engaged.

Asynchronous motors (ASM) have no permanent magnets and are simple in design, sturdy, low in maintenance and long-lived. All electric motors used by Audi are liquid-cooled, so as to maintain their reliable operating temperature of at most 180 °C (356 °F). The DC charging stations have various output arrangements.
