But it is a price that must be paid, and GM should be commended for remaining committed to the Volt. They leased a few (at a loss) to those that could afford it. Its been improving over time, but the power density and cost issues are still steep for what exists thus far. Former vice chairman Bob Lutz said as much a year ago.
