The Volt is, and always has been, more than than an electric car. GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. " President Obamas auto task force doesnt see it that way. They leased a few (at a loss) to those that could afford it. Thats short-sighted.
