Whatever it is, during our week driving the Tucson Hybrid through Southern California, it drew plenty of attention and comments. The EPA estimates fuel economy to be 37 mpg city/36 highway/37 combined. During our week in the Tucson Hybrid AWD we drove 463 miles through Southern California, averaging 38.1 Smooth running.
