Rolls-Royce Power Systems road map for climate-neutrality; 35% cut by 2030 from 2019; key role of mtu engines

By 2030, the Rolls-Royce business unit is to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 35% compared to its 2019 level through the use of new net zero and zero carbon technologies. Or it relates to fuels such as hydrogen, that would not at all emit CO 2 at the exhaust pipe. This is not yet relevant for Rolls-Royce applications.

Testing has shown the ability of several advanced engine technologies to be optimized to improve fuel efficiency while increasing exhaust temperature in diesel engine exhaust, which improves NO x reduction performance.
