Daimler Mobility AG and Geely Technology Group, a subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (Geely Holding), unveiled the premium ride-hailing provider StarRides in China with inaugural services to begin in Hangzhou in December 2019. Tom Gu joined StarRides on 1 September 2019 as Chief Executive Officer, leading a staff of 80 employees.

For example, with Instacart, my grocery store now lives on my phone. The app is live, so people can download the app and then actually start requesting the range on that day.

Subject to review and approval by the relevant competition authorities, Daimler Financial Services will contribute to the three business units of carsharing, ride-hailing and MaaS, in the mobility joint venture with BMW, which is due to launch in 2019. In 2019, as Daimler Mobility AG, we will underscore our ambition with a new name.
