An ABS statistics review released in 2019 states that the average passenger ICE vehicle consumes about 10.8 litres of fuel per 100kms at a cost of 143c per litre for unleaded petrol. So, to travel 100,000km in a standard ICE would cost over $15,000 dollars. That seems expensive for an EV charger.
