Electrify America has released its National Zero Emissions Vehicle (ZEV) Investment Plan for Cycle 2; Cycle 2 is a 30-month investment period that begins in July 2019. Metro Community Charging: The major focus of infrastructure investment in Cycle 2 is charging within metro areas, where research shows that EV drivers charge most often.

Where it used to be Hertz or Avis–or a taxi–the choices now are much more complex. Uber’s value proposition is that it is cheaper than using a taxi and much cheaper than using a personal car. The company rebranded as Share Now in fall 2019 as BMW’s Reach Now was shut down and folded in with Car2go.
