The average transaction price (ATP) of a new vehicle in the US hit a record high in December at $49,507—an increase of 1.9% ($927) from November and up 4.9% ($2,297) from year-earlier levels. However, the average price paid for a new EV decreased in December by $3,594 (down 5.5%) compared to November and ended the year lower by 0.6%.

First, the Tiguan small sport-utility launched in 2018 arrived on the U.S. On the other hand, it’s a minivan with sliding side doors. Iconic design, two-tone paint, three rows, AWD; whatever you call it, the Buzz won’t be cheap.

That’s not surprising—the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, the company’s only previous plug-in hybrid, is a well-executed PHEV with an EPA-rated 32 miles of usable electric range that retains all the virtues of the Pacifica minivan. It was all-new for the 2018 model year, and was engineered from the start to accommodate 2021’s PHEV version.
