The latest annual data from the Federal Highway Administration show that in 2018 the maximum (348,796 million miles in California) was 94.5 The data apply to 2018. by Michael Sivak, Sivak Applied Research.

Navigant further expects significant growth in the North American PEV market over the next few years. After 2018, strong but stable growth is expected with a compound annual growth rate from 2018 to 2025 in the base scenario of nearly 13%.
