AVTA is committed to having an all electric fleet by 2018. This project will be the first commercial deployment of articulated fuel cell buses in the US. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation and the Martha's Vineyard Transit Authority will receive funds to purchase all-electric transit buses and an energy storage system.
