The American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest announced the launch of Midwest EVOLVE , a three-year project to promote electric vehicles in seven Midwestern states: Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota. The first events will be held in the spring of 2017.

Toyota CSRC launches new research tracks on autonomous & connected vehicle technologies; 11 projects with 8 institutions

Launched in January 2017, CSRC Next builds upon the insights gained from the CSRC’s first five years, and will direct $35 million toward safety research into advanced vehicle technologies, including both autonomous and connected systems. Examples are vehicles, pedestrians, bicyclists, traffic signs, buildings, curbs, etc.
