The Niro Hybrid has front MacPherson struts and rear multi-link suspension delivering a smooth and stable ride, with tire and wind noise at a minimum. Both routes are curvy, winding their way through citrus and avocado groves, with 150 cresting at 6,716 feet. Tire and wind noise were low, and the engine in hybrid mode was quiet. Flagship SUV Gives Smooth Luxury, Powerful Diesel Performance. The low diesel rumble upon start-up becomes a nice note when accessing the ample torque to get off the line, but then purrs quietly at freeway speeds. When Clean Fleet Report first reviewed the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid in 2017, it was the only electrified minivan on the market. But the landscape has changed since 2017 as the 2021 Toyota Sienna minivan is now a hybrid. Wind gusts or passing big rigs had no effect on the stability and sure footed feel. Ready to ride.
