Toyota’s first commercially available hydrogen fuel cell vehicle will go on sale in global markets in 2015. This year at the Tokyo Motor show, Toyota will unveil a well-defined mid-size four-door sedan hydrogen fuel cell concept. Which is precisely where we believed hybrids would be, 15 years ago.

Building on its unveiling at January’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas ( earlier post ), the Volkswagen BUDD-e electric vehicle concept is making its US auto show debut at the New York International Auto Show. The concept van is 181 inches long, 76.3 inches wide and 72.2 Drive, control, consume.

Debuting at the SEMA show in Las Vegas this year, the LM3D Swim was designed by Kevin Lo, a Local Motors community member who won the company’s Project Redacted challenge in July. Local Motors plans to begin taking orders next year. Roughly 75% of the LM3D is printed.
