As a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, I cannot tell you the number of times I’ve wanted to sneak stories about two-wheeled transportation onto this website. Despite having seen them around for years, they were models I had long assumed would be marginally better than the atrocious three-wheeled motorcycles offered by Harley-Davidson.

First Escape PHEV delivered to SCE Nov 2007; 20 in 2008-2009. Daimler/Mercedes Took over Daimler/Chrysler Sprinter PHEV program. Batteries not ready. Has shown some concept fuel-cell PHEVs.

The Smart Grid Consortium, established in December 2007 by Xcel Energy, will select a community of approximately 100,000 residents to become a Smart Grid City using V2G. Hybrid electric buses and heavy trucks could power many homes or a school or a hospital in an emergency.
