Toyota Prius modders have already been adding larger batteries so the vehicle can run on battery power. The big deal was that the oil industry saw real competition and persuaded GM to abandon the project and crush them all like cans. Fisker is a good example. Way to go morons. P.S. The Volt is not revolutionary.
