When used in diesel engines, biodiesel usually exhibits several combustion-related advantages, including reductions in CO, UHC and PM emissions, as well as a net CO 2 reduction. The engine used in the study was a 2007 Cummins ISB 6.7 Their study was published online 21 December in the ACS journal Energy & Fuels.
