California ARB holding two workshops on developing measure to reduce emissions from TRUs

To that end, ARB staff is holding two more workshops on the development of a regulation to limit the amount of time that internal combustion engine-driven TRUs and TRU gensets operate while stationary, as well as requiring an overall zero-emission mode operating time. Background. NO x : 6,100 tons per year.

Scientist have confirmed that unlike gasoline cars, plug-ins will get cleaner as they get older -- because our power grid is getting cleaner. A PHEV with only a 20-mile all-electric range is 62% lower (see printed page 95 in the 2004 study ). CalCars produced the worlds first plug-in Prius (the PRIUS+) in 2004.
