Scientist have confirmed that unlike gasoline cars, plug-ins will get cleaner as they get older -- because our power grid is getting cleaner. But theyve needed definitive proof that PHEVs wont increase pollution. A PHEV with only a 20-mile all-electric range is 62% lower (see printed page 95 in the 2004 study ).
